5 Loaves and 2 Fishes|New Zealand

Hi, we are Chris and Maureen. This is us with Wallace, a few years back. We live in a small Waikato rural town (New Zealand) and it suits us fine - don't have to find parking going to the post office.    

We stood down from full-time pastoral ministry and settled in the Waikato district to concentrate on preparation of specialist teaching material designed to supplement the work of local churches. 'River Discipleship' is a workbook on basic Christian doctrine and recently published was 'Rainbow Discovery' a direct witnessing tool for evangelists.  We called our ministry '5 Loaves and 2 Fishes' and supplied resources widely thoughout New Zealand.

Maureen's church background is Presbyterian and Baptist and mine is Open Brethren and Assemblies of God - an unusual mix admittedly but we acknowledge and appreciate the heritage.

And this is us now - just ordinary people - not far down the road from the Te Waihou blue springs.  Google it up sometime.  Its the prettiest place since the land of milk and honey.

We've got 3 adult children and they all follow the Lord.  We worship at the Putaruru Gospel Chapel where I do a bit of preaching and teaching still. We get on great with the Pastor and Elders.  That's the way it's meant to be - brothers dwelling together in unity.
