Christian Rehab, instead of focusing on the drug that has wrecked our lives, focuses | više
Christian Rehab, instead of focusing on the drug that has wrecked our lives, focuses on the transformative power of Christ. Although addiction can have physical consequences, it is not primarily a disease of the body. Rather, it is a fundamental symptom of a life out of sync with the Creator, an outward manifestation of our separation from God.
When the Apostle Paul was on the verge of being overwhelmed by problems and difficulties that were so severe that they threatened his life, he turned to God as the ultimate arbitrator of his life and future.
In 2 Corinthians 1:8,9 he wrote:
8 We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about the hardships we suffered in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired even of life. 9 Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. (NIV)
He saw his problems as vehicles that drove him into a deeper, more dependent relationship with God. As real as the problems were, the solution was God and not his own plan to extricate himself from their consequences.
In Christian Rehab, we help you connect or reconnect with God. God can help you beat your addiction; he can help you get your life back. We do not believe in temporary fixes or transferring your addiction to another drug. We believe that God can heal your wounded soul and restore you to the life God always intended for you to live.
Over the last twenty-five years, I have seen God change the lives of countless men and women trapped in impossible situations. He can change your life. Let’s talk.
